1990s and 2000s The first steps

Amiweb is the first step to achieve this goal, a virtual platform to market natural products. In the late 1990s, Armando flew to Havana and, after a meeting with the top officials of the Ministerio de la Agricoltura de Cuba, obtained permission to officially import Cuban spirulina into Italy, an alga with countless energizing and heart-protective properties. He initially relies on a well-known Italian company to process the seaweed, and thanks to this new collaboration, Armando gets back in touch with the products of the beehive. He opens a first herbalist's shop in Cavalese and begins to participate in markets and events, first and foremost the Levico Christmas market, where he receives excellent results by presenting propolis tincture, balsamic honey and honey-based cough syrup.

The Herb Farm and BeeSalus

Initially, only wholesale products are found here, but since 2012, with the birth of the beekeeping company Maso delle Erbe, there is the inclusion of a retail outlet, the purchase of new land and the idea of an educational room for guided tours. In 2019, the Al Naturale family is expanded again: the BeeSalus project, an innovative path regarding beekeeping and training courses, starts.

Over the years, Al Naturale has continually transformed: there has been an evolution of products; a rebirth after a setback in 2010 due to the withdrawal of contaminated propolis from the market because of a well-known company no longer operating; up to the resilience demonstrated during 2020, where Covid dealt a blow to Italian companies. 2021 was a useful year to reinvent themselves, creating new products, focusing on staff training, collaborating with Federsalus, Confindustria Trentino, and the ICE Agency.

The new projects

Al Naturale today is the fruit of all these events and how the company reacted to events. The dream of expanding has also become a reality. The company headquarters moved to a new, larger laboratory with a warehouse capacity of 250 pallets and a production capacity of 10,000 pieces per day between food supplements and cosmetics.

And for the future? Who knows. The prospects are becoming even more ambitious: a new warehouse and a cosmetic laboratory three times larger than the current one have been purchased to respond even more efficiently to market demands.
At the same time, Arnia Creativa, the web marketing service created to support Al Naturale’s clients in the promotion and enhancement of their brands, was born. Arnia offers comprehensive, tailor-made support: branding and restyling of corporate image, creation of customized websites and e-commerce, management of social media and Amazon accounts, up to the creation of promotional graphic materials.

Armando speaks of continuous enrichment through the transmission of knowledge, the creation of training courses related to natural products and, above all, the creation of a strong and lasting network of companies linked by the same goals.
